Well, I recently came upon on old Atari 800xl which I thought I had gotten rid of (well, I got rid of one of my 800xl's and a 130xe i think :) Anwya I also have a 1050 5.25" floppy drive with it and such but the problem is I no longer have any disks and thus no use for this system so I'm wondering if there is a way to hook this thing up to a pc to simulate a disk being in the disk drive (knowing how things are, i'd probably have to code custom software for it and thats not going to happen :) So if anyone has any good ideas about about how to do this or even anthing neat I can do with it now I'd appreciate it :)

This sounds like what you're looking for. Never used it, so if you try it, post your results here...

Alternatively, you could find someone with some old 5 1/4" floppies willing to make you a set of system disks. Mine are in storage and in a indeterminate state of being...
