Hi,

I've decided to code a Neo-Geo (and perhaps a CPS) emulator, but have no clue on where I could find documentation on both systems. Could any of you guys give me directions on how to get them?

If all else fails you can look at the source code to MAME, FBA, or ACE for technical info.

Yeah, well that is one of the things I was trying to avoid. Isn't there any other way of coding an emulator of those systems without having to look up information from sources of existing emus?

Guessing, also called reverse-engineering. That's how it was done in the first place.

OG.

There's just a tiny bit more to it than "guessing" ;)

Half of reverse-engineering is knowing when to trust your guesses though :-)

There is? Even if you have documentation then you still end up having to fill in the blanks.
