Here's what I recommend doing first:

Contact the owner of this website, http://kmfdm40.tripod.com/tech.htm

Explain your situation to him etc. He might be able to fix it etc.

I wish I could tell you more information atm however my cps3 system died last year and I'm still waiting for capcom to fix it.
