Actually, Tengen made games for Nintendo just like any other developer at first, their games were regular grey ones like all the rest. Then Tengen started making their own carts, and those are the black ones. Besides, the dark lines aren't from the game, it's because the new style NES uses a NES-on-a-chip, which is of lower quality than having every chip seperate like a regular Famicom or NES.
