ZiNC v1.0.2[Home Page]

From the readme.txt file:

What's new since ZiNc 1.0.1?
----------------------------
  • Reversed Qsound channels.

  • Tekken 3 now runs. Yes, I know it sounds like hell. Turn your speakers off.

  • sfexp reparented as per MAME 0.88u3, the new US version is the parent.

  • Added the release date to the description of all Capcom games so you can tell the difference between the 2 US sets of sfexp.

  • Fixed misidentified sfex2-series sets.

  • Added player 2 controls for Konami GV games.

  • Fixed graphical issue in Bloody Roar 2.

  • (Linux) libs11player.so now can also be in the LD search path. This is helpful for frontends.

The authors seemed pretty against hacking it around.
Should this make us hopefull for more System 12 games or not?

I'd so love to see Golgo 13 emulated.

Gives us a kiss precious.

When you click on Tetris, it starts up Star Gladiator 2. Happens in both ZincFE and ZincGUI. So I'm thinking it's a bug in the emulator.

If you knew more about ZiNc you'd know it's a command line program and gets started by game number. In v1.0.2 Tetris is #24 IIRC and starts up like it should. I dunno where you're clicking but the problem is definitely not with the program itself.

Accurate timing is an issue for a system as complex as the PSX. MAME is probably the same.

SubjectWasn't the timing issue related to the sound emulation? new Reply to this message
