At http://www.atari.de/newsarchive.php?newsID=194&lastID= Atari announces a 7800 retro console. Unfortunately the do not tell if it is based on emulation or a real remake of the console. Therefore its also unknown if one can insert original cartridges.

Right on time for the 20th birthday of the calssic Atari console "Atari Flash back" gives the unique possibility for a travel into the founding time of video games. Classics like "Asteroids", "Breakout" or "Centiped" return to the home screen. "Atari Flashback" is a console in the style of the legendary Atari 7800 which comes with two classic joysticks.
