It's a great little beat-em-up with lots of cool details: wandering drunken salarymen sometimes attack you for no reason, there's a guy and girl on a park bench and you can knock them off, you can pick fights with the train station attendants etc. Steve's written about it at length.

I'm reading the manga right now and it's one of the better series I've ever read. Knowing about the character's backgrounds makes the game more fun to play.
