SubjectTrying to bring Bliss back... new Reply to this message

I'm trying to spread the word that I'm working on the Bliss Intellivision emulator again, and I need people to help me test the latest beta and provide feedback. I can't get access to the old web site, so I've set up a new web site for all my projects at http://www.themolehill.com. Please give me a hand and help me test out the latest version.

Thanks!
Kyle

Nice to see you again!
I already posted news on my site about your newest version.

Kind regards

Thanks! :-)

I fell out of grace with this project a few years ago because of what I might characterize as "lack of focus". Basically, I tried to be too much to too many people, and the task became so daunting that I just couldn't deal with it. I have picked up this codebase again in a huge way, though, and hope to spread some Inty enjoyment again.

Seeing that you need the .NET framework to run Bliss surprised me a lot. Especially since you ported it from Java to .NET, which may gain you more speed, but at the cost of platform portability... in the long run it may prove a winning choice, however: Mono seems to be doing fine.

Meanwhile, welcome back and thanks for reviving your emulator! I'll give it a try soon with Utopia and the AD&D games :)

OKKAY!
