The actual flashROMs used on the SIMMs are the same type (exactly) as used in many other games like Namco System 11/12 and others (which of course I've dumped many of) The SIMMs themselves are simply flashROM-holders, they are a medium to route the legs of the flashROMs to the sockets that exist on the B-board, that's all. They're no more complex than any other smt dump.
On your other question, the XOR's have not been created yet AFAIK.
