Hmm anyone having any troubles with it ?
i first downloaded the athlon xp optimized build but this one kept crashing whenever i selected a few games or just pressed and hold the up button to scroll through my games. (exit to desktop without any errors). So i downloaded the original build but same problem here, i deleted the mame32ui.ini file, as well as updating history.dat and mameinfo.dat to no luck.
When i remove the history.dat and mameinfo.dat browsing seems to work but when i right click on the right panel and select snapshots, bang exit to desktop. So i emptied my snapshots folder again with no luck.

so my next logical step was extracting the original build to a new clean directory and just moving my roms dir to it, but same thing happens.

Okay as a final thing i just extracted both builds in an empty directory with nothing added afterwards and same problem occured when it was looking for new games and i browsed through the game list, afterwards browsing seemed to be ok, but right clicking on the snapshots pane and clicking snapshots gave the same crash to desktop. Could it be bugged.

i'm goana check previous builds now to see if it happend there

update:
okay downloaded mame32 0.89 again, and problem doesn't occur there which make me believe there's a bug in mame32 0.90

weird now it works, i downloaded the normal build from a mirror site, maybe it was messed up there somehow. It's gone now doh, i better get it from the source next time instead of other emulation news sites. tnx.

Yeah, I've noticed that the "optimized" builds actually run slower than the official.
