SubjectNot strictly emulation but relevant: Sega phone games new Reply to this message

I keep marvelling at the range of games for Vodafone Live in Japan from Sega. Now they appear to be developing Galaxy Force II (with rotate!):

http://sega.jp/kt/vodafone/segaages/home.html

Other games:
- Fantasy Zone (in 3 parts)
- Space Harrier
- Flicky
- Pengo
- Monkey Ball
- Head-On
- Quartet
- SDI
- Woody Pop
- Bonanza Bros.
- After Burner II
- Samurai
- Ninja Princess
- Deep Scan
- Teddy Boy Blues
- Wonder Boy
- Monaco GP
- Super Monaco GP
- OutRun
- Power Drift
- Puyo Puyo (variants)
- Baku Baku Animal

Japan has all the fun, grumble!

Not sure if these are different service providers or what in Japan, but there are more classics on other setups:

http://sega.jp/kt/docomo/home.html includes WonderBoy in Monsterland and Power Smash (aka Virtua Tennis, in 3D!)

http://sega.jp/kt/kddi/home.html includes Sega Rally Championship stage 1(in 3D!)

Konami made original Gradius games for their iMode phones.
(Note to RB - Please find way to dump and emulate. kthnx.)

Links at Gradius Homeworld:

http://www.gamestone.co.uk/gradius/imo_gradius_neo.shtml Version made just for the phone.

http://www.gamestone.co.uk/gradius/imo_gradius_neo_imperial.shtml Play as the Core ship!

Yeah but their mobile phone Java standard over there doesn't suck like ours.

Try doing that with MIDP 1.0. Hell even doing a scrolling background is an ordeal.
I forget what the Japanese standard is called (iMode?), but ours is pathetic.

Seriously, if you find a phone which runs in the UK and runs anything even half as decent as a GBA, please tell me.
