SubjectAbout CHD games in mame [mt] new Reply to this message

Well...it's been a while since I last tried my few chds
in MAME. And of course, I realised that they don't work
in the latest MAME builds (I'm not sure when exactly this
"change" occured). My question is...is there a patch or
something so I won't have to re-download them? I am a 56k
poor user and it's a pain in the ass for me
Any suggestions would be nice...

You have to convert them to the new format using the supplied chdman.

Example:
chdman -update kinstold.chd kinst.chd

(rename and backup your chd file before doing this)

(Petr1fied's BT link for sfish2_bin-chd.zip has had 0 seeds for a while now)
