You need the cracked versions of the NES Classics games in order to run them on GBA emulators.

Needs patch. Nintendo oddly finally found a good way to protect the games with a special save check on a version of their standard savetypes...yet only use it on 8bit NES games. Go figure eh?

It checks/tries to create a savestate in a memory space that doesn't actually exist in the real cart. If it succeeds, you get that message. I think.

Can't think of why anyone would want to play that in a GBA emulator...but oh well. The only reason I bought it was for some quality retro Castlevania on the go, and I hope to god Castlevania III makes it to the GBA at some point.

I have a soft place in my heart for Castlevania II but time has not been kind to it.

So let's get this straight, after years of "Emulation is illegal, moan moan" on their website, Nintendo only now try the most blatently obvious copyright enforcement method on their GBA carts... and yet it's completely pointless anyway because anyone with a Flash cart can just use PocketNES?

Yet more proof that GBA emulation is 100% pure warez.
