Since you can calculate the % increase ~6%... How many games don't run full speed? Are they close? How much are those games worth? You might pull a 50fps -> 53 or 54. Or a 55 into a 60fps... This can make some differance... but you will be pushing the system and probably get slowdowns anyway.

Computers seem to be getting faster in different ways these days. Higher cache (makes some difference in mame) and bus speeds (not as much in mame). I miss Moores law... We should be at 8ghz+ today if it kept going in kept up in the last few years... sigh...
