Lots of people are using this now. What's so great about it? The screenshots and the ability to launch an emulator are nice, but the lists are missing an incredible number of roms. As far as I know there are no protos, no translations, no betas, no public domain, no hacks...

As a person who breathed a sigh of relief and uttered "good" at the previous statement, I suddenly know "what's so great about it".

GoodGBA has a lot of crap roms. Offline is pretty clean and updated almost daily.

It's not like those extra rooms take up a lot of space. 200 gig drives can be had for like $100 and 16X DVD burners for even less.

I've got a 120GB and a 200GB hard drive, a 12X DVD writer, and an 8x Dual Layer DVD writer. That doesn't make me suddenly want a bizarre cornucopia of crappy ROMs.

To each his or her own, you know? Offline sounds like something I'd like, and it sounds like you'd appreciate something more comprehensive.

That's exactly the point of OfflineList. Clean dumps of real games, no more, no less. Why exactly do you need several bad dumps of some obscure ROM anyway?

My only gripe is the lack of betas. Those bad boys are pretty neat to check out from time to time.

well when i use any goodtool i use the switch that tells it to ignore bad dumps. you can do that for hacks too i think. and probably freeware roms or whatever. haven't touched any rom utils in over a year.
