SubjectYoshi's Island had dual SFX-2 Chips? Reply to this message

Being a SNES nut, this is quite intriguing. Anyone know any reason why Yoshi's Island needed 2 SFX-2 chips? I know it used the SFX-2 for sprite scaling and some effects, however, it didn't seem to be one of the games that really stressed the chips (it was the 1st SFX-2 game that was playably emulated). Anyone got any info?
