I tried to ask this on the mame32qa board, but it sucks.

Anyway, here's the deal: I can't see mameinfo underneath the snapshot, same for history. Also, mame32 reports that the cheat database cannot be found when I try to enable a cheat within a game.

I've deleted the entire directory and redownloaded mame32 .92u(whateverthechristyournumberis) from the mame32qa page. After re-installing, the settings that I've already specified remain, so it would appear the settings are being save elsewhere. I've been having this problem for awhile, sans the cheat.dat problem.
