Read the press release here.

Vol3 will include:
Badlands
Hydro Thunder
Off Road Thunder: Mud, Sweat 'N Gears
Race Drivin'
San Francisco Rush The Rock: Alcatraz Edition
San Francisco Rush 2049
S.T.U.N. Runner
Super Off Road & Bonus Tracks Pack

I guess they've given up on trying to emulate these games...

Hope it's legit info. No way in hell could most of those games be emulated on modern hardware, so hopefully they're all faithful 1:1 ports.

Has anyone played Total Carnage in Midway Treasures 2? Can you get all the prizes in the Pleasure Dome? In the arcade version in MAME, getting the 220 keys is easy, and killing all the Akhboobs is easy with 2 players, but once you're in the Pleasure Dome, getting all those prizes is damn impossible. It always says that I did not get all of them. Did they change anything in the Midway Treasures version?

Why do you say that? Sure they couldn't be emulated the MAME way but if it's Digital Eclipse or someone, they have other way which go beyond the usual MAME emulation methods (bit of HLE or simulation or something...) to get them running on consoles... :-P

Plus they have all the specs to both the console and the hardware the game runs on, which I'd imagine is a huge help.

But its still a multiplatform title designed to run on 3 consoles. Targeting the lowest common denominator (PS2), I don't see them turning out arcade perfect. They had speed issues with some of the titles in the last collection, and none of them had hardware anywhere near as powerfull as this stuff. I think its just going to be a collection of ports.
