Tekken 1-3 ran on psx based hardware in the arcade (System 11/12). That allowed for arcade perfect ports of T1 and T2 to the psx and a scaled down version of T3 (I think the psx lacked enough vram and was slightly slower than the system 12 hardware). However, since the ps2 has the ps1 cpu for backwards compatibility (and doesn't it also handle i/o?), is it really emulated or just running from the ps1 cpu?
I also saw that Tekken 5 has Starblade as the loading minigame. How does that perform on the ps2?
