MAGE v0.20[Home Page]

From the whatsnew.txt file:

0.20

Curt Coder and Tomasz Slanina cleaned up lvpoker.c and vroulet.c respectively.
This was merged with the ultimate sound and input rewrite to make MAGE 0.20.

NOTE: The new sound core is experimental - if any games are broken, I need to know so I can fix them.
Apparently the YM2413 in Scorpion 2 is broken, but I don't know why.

Gens32 v1.55[Home Page]

From the home page:

Gens32 v1.55(Current Release):
Deleted some useless fliters,Fixed Stretch fliter, rewrote
the TV fliter,Fixed display postion, and add a new
function, which allow you to map the 'A','B','C'
to 'X','Y','Z' when you hold on the MODE .I think this new
fuction will be very suiteble when you play StreetFighter2
with a play station's pad.

But I wish one of them would add AVI output support in Win32 :(

There's a patch out for the Linux version of Gens that supports it, but nothing on the Win32 homefront.

It's a shame, because it's one of those systems that could really use it , too. Been wanting to record a Contra Hard Corps video for a long time :(

(yes, I do feel oddly compelled to ramble on about this everytime Gens and Kega get updated but don't have AVIoutput added)

On a sidenote, for the hell of it I encoded the intro to Starfox last night as a 1920x1080 video just to see what would happen. I was bored :(

One of these days I'm going to have to break down and do that DVD of pre-32bit RPG endings.
