No lag at all, but it does seem to like having 2 controllers plugged in all the time (get weird interference sometimes if only one is plugged in)

I'd HIGHLY recommend it tho, but DON'T INSTALL THE DRIVERS FOR IT!!!!

WinXP automatically detects it as a 16button pad and the analogue switch works fine with the drivers winxp installs. By not installing the drivers you avoid the rumble problems like it rumbling all the time in some shittily coded EA games. Once you install the EMS drivers, I have not found out a proper way to remove them (eg. get it back to not rumbling like it did in FIFA 04 with the EMS drivers or how it continually scrolled menus in NFS Underground with the EMS drivers, however it was fine after a reformat and just the MS drivers).

overall, i'm very satisfied with it.
