SubjectDaley Thompson Games new Reply to this message

Hi, in the late 80's early 90's there was a sports game which featured the character of Daley Thompson. The animation in the demo we saw had DT running down a long jump track and it featured his cheeks blowing in and out. We think it was on a Amstrad computer but not sure. I have looked at all TOSEC images available on multi machines but to no avail.

Can anyone remember such a game, it may not have been released or part of the DT Series released at that time period. Any help would be welcome.

Hi Haze

I've looked all over the web and it's not anywhere.
My friend who was with me when I saw the game says it was def on an amstrad but the graphics were def not cpc.
What I remember is a cartoon like DT running down a long-jump track and as he was running his cheeks were puffing in and out, then he took the jump and it would return back to the track start.
Maybe it was never released or named after Daley Thomson.
It did look brilliant and I never forgot the image and now it's doing my head in.

Thanks anyway, i'll keep searching

It was a series of games in the good old '64. You had Daley Thomson's Decathlon, Daley Thomson's Olympic Challenge and Daley Thomson's Supertest. I could give you an url, but that will take the fun out of finding it yourself, wouldn't it :) (shouldn't be too hard now, anyway) Anyway, thought they were pretty much fun, but liked summer olympics and that Decathlete better...Specially that grueling 1500m run :)

But one of the site's HAZE mentioned had all 3 DT games for download - they were the spectrum versions though.
