50Hz doesn't flicker too bad on my monitor though, slightly more flicker than 60Hz thats all.

What CRT monitor are you using?

I'm using a Sony GDM-FW900. I don't think all monitors handle low refresh rates as good as each other so the quality will vary from monitor to monitor.

Is there not a NTSC version of the game(s) you are playing in Zsnes?
