i've got a cheap proview 19inch monitor (i think this brand doesn't even exist anymore ;-)) 50hz is really bad on that thing - play more than 5 minutes and get a headache!!!
for snes games, using the ntsc-version is actually the best solution, i think. but for amiga-emulation, most games are pal - switching to 60hz makes them smooth but speeds them up by about 16,66%! so i think i simply have to live with my problem... or i could buy a 10inch monitor so that 50hz isn't that bad ;-)))
