None of the console ports were arcade perfect. The Genesis version very scaled back graphics and poor quality sound, the only thing it had going for it was just the blood.

The SNES version had much better graphics and sound than the Genesis version, and would have been a closer arcade port had it not been for Nintendo's censorship.

Thankfully MKII for the SNES had the blood, and was a pretty faithfull port of the arcade (Certainly not perfect, but it was very acceptable).
