Now, I know i'm taking liberties with it, but look at the numbering system for Pegasys' TMPGEnc, its follows the x.x.x.x numbering system to a T. But in the end, its whatever the devs decide is the way it works. My favorite always was the numerical date year.month.day so today's version would be Mame v.2005.08.09 but hey, its only a numbering system, what we really should be focused on is helping the devs by 1.) not bitching for new additions when great strides have just been made, 2.) donating to get pcbs/dumping equipment, and 3.) contributing to mametesters.org to help give them an idea of the current issues. _ _ - - = = Pr3tty F1y = = - - _ _ | ||
