The AVI recording function is getting much use from me right now (Mustical Ninja owns), though it is a little quirky.

Anyone else playing with the latest Mupen64 release?

Yeh i use mupen64 on linux its marvellous amazing that it works so well even without some of the plugins available to windows

What exactly is so special about it in regards to emulation over like Project64 w/the latest good plugins.

The major attractions to it imo are its cross-platform nature (available on Linux and soon v5 will be on MacOSX...good for suckers like myself that bought a powerbook) and the video&playback recording.

I hear the RSP plugin's ability to offload audio lists to the hle audio plugin is a cool ability as well, but I really don't know anything about it. I just want to play N64 games on my Powerbook and record videos :)
