Does anyone know how to get past the Test Screen on Dragon Spirit?

I've looked on google and can't seem to find help on the matter.

I have two working romsets for Dragon Spirit; apparently one 'old' and one 'new' version. Neither gets stuck at a test screen. See if you can get a different romset.
