SubjectVivanonno resolution? Reply to this message

There is a resolution hack for the Dreamcast emulator Chankast to run it in any resolution. It involves hex editing the EXE.

Vivanonno only runs at 640x480 and if you maximise the window, its only 'scaling' the 640x480 to whatever your desktop resolution is so it looks fugly.

Is there any method for changing the actual resolution to something higher like 1600x1200 in fullscreen?

I remember reading back when Viva came out (probably ~3+ years ago - so I could be wrong) that you can use high res textures - and IIRC that this depends on your graphics card make / model (some cards were better / more stable than others) and the graphics card's memory. I think 128 MB of RAM was needed on your graphics card.

I can probably dig out some old posts if you need them - just let me know.
