The other day, a guy at an ice cream shop showed me that if you don't accelerate on OutRun once the fat man in red gives you the checkered flag, he starts waving his hand to indicate you should accelerate. Then he goes back to the flag, back to the hand, and then he gets pissed and turn around and stops all activity.

It was news to me.

I guess whoever made a System16 emulator saw this before he implemented the controls.
