Hey, it's emulation related, right? :)

Anyone else not surprised that titles like Outrun 2, Otogi 1 and 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Spikeout, Gunvalkyrie, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and Psychonauts aren't supported yet?

Figures that none of the games that caused me to buy an Xbox in the first place are currently supported (if ever)

Very much surprised. As well as such best sellers as Project Gotham Racing 2 and Rallisport Challenge 2 (and their prequels). Yet, Barbie Horse Adventures made the list. Hmm, what's wrong with this picture?

They did say that it was still a work in progress and that they're focusing on supporting their AAA+++ line up/best sellers first and that sometimes as one game gets supported, another will mysteriously start working (either from a shared engine with a more popular game or just random black magic).

That said, I can't think of what AAA+++ games share an engine with Yourself Fitness and Barbie Horse Adventure or why they'd take priority over Splinter Cell and Project Gotham Racing, or why only Sands of time Works but not Warrior Within.

Bonus lol for Monster Garage being supported.

Anyone who follows Mame has seen this behavior a hundred times. Work on one driver often carries over to other games that share similarities.

In due time, I'm sure we will see a pretty strong % of emulated titles.

Yeah, I read the interview. I'm not really sure what to make of it, the whole thing seems to be less than consistent. Dead or Alive 3 is supported but not XBV or Ultimate. The Prince of Persia example you gave, of course. I also wonder why they don't mention Sega GT Online just to boost the list, since it was a separate release.

I wish I had about $80-$120 extra last month so that I could have picked up all of the $20 Xbox games I kinda sorta wanted during the buy 2 get 1 free deal at Toys R Us.

A Barbie game probably isn't very complicated (code-wise) so you could expect some junk like that to make the cut, heh. :(
