SubjectVideo Capture in mame new Reply to this message

I'd like to make a video capture of a mame game, since I wanna copy the keyframes (and timing) of some of the character movements.

Is there a way to obtain a tidy AVI, with no blits (like it used to be, with no blurring or stretching at all) in mame?

(the no stretching thing is just because I'd like to take it off, whether its for video capture or not. Them blurry things make me nervous)

I don't know how "clean" it is, but a versions of MAME 32 up until something like MAME32 v0.35 had AVI recording.

Also, do a search on BuddaMAME - which does (or did) have AVI recording.
