I have a similar setup. If you use the Capcom hack, the game runs full speed most of the time, with the exception of some stages. Other than that, it's very much playable with no major issues (that I've run into anyway, and I've finished the game a number of times on the emulator).
By comparison, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike also runs fairly well but can have gfx issues. Marvel vs Capcom 2 however, slows down considerably if there is a lot of action going on.
