SubjectModel2 emulator question Reply to this message

Does anyone know if Elsemi's Model2 emulator is ever likely to receieve another update? Currently I have to run two versions as the latest (nicest) version won't play Virtual-On or Top Skater and the music is missing in Sega Touring Car and Top Skater.

Also I remember some pictures of incomplete Over Rev emulation (as shown on System16.com), will that ever be added to a release version of Model2 emulator or MAME? Or is it a case of sit back and wait until the 3D core code has been ported into MAME?

Ice (asking those sort of questions again, whilst waiting for Outrun 2006...)

You almost gave me a heart attack. I thought this was referring to the TRS-80 Model II for a moment there. I used to have one of those, and apparently there's emulators for 1, 3, 4, etc., but the Model 2 was skipped for some reason. It's just a 64k Z80 box. *whine* :~(

But anyways...yes...carry on. Don't mind me. :D
