Hi! I'm looking for a front end. I was wondering if someone could reccomend one that might be helpful in the following ways

1. To have .7z format for compression
2. Allow the most roms/emulators possible
3. Allow for pictures to be shown
4. Clean interface, low memory usage, etc.
5. A search function.

Well thanks for anyone's help that decides to reply!

Though, this frontend has been around for a while, I just tried it tonight and had a lot of fun with it:

http://quickplay.sourceforge.net

It's called QuickPlay. You can associate specific file extensions to specific emulators, which is whatI liked about it. Plus you can use it for arcade and console games combined.

I agree wholeheartedly! QuickPlay is an excellent frontend, and the author of the program is constantly updating it to make it better. And it does everything you need: 7z support, allows for thousands of roms, ability to display several types of pictures, low memory useage, and a really good search function. Try it out! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. :)
