I agree wholeheartedly! QuickPlay is an excellent frontend, and the author of the program is constantly updating it to make it better. And it does everything you need: 7z support, allows for thousands of roms, ability to display several types of pictures, low memory useage, and a really good search function. Try it out! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. :)
