You missing the point entirely. If i install a game I want the game to be installed and thats it. I don't want no hidden drivers allowing backdoors into my systems security features, installing hidden registry entries causing possible conficts with my hardware and operating system. I especially don't want them installed without been told about it. I have boycotted several starfarce games now that i would of otherwise bought, because of this. Its more due to the underhand tactics used to install the software. If a plumber came around to install a boiler in your bathroom and added a secret camera in the corner of the room wouldn't you be annoyed. Its exactly the same principal.
As usual the only thing copy protection hurts is the legitimate users. Hackers and pirates just work their way around the protection.
