"There’s a new PSF rip of my personal favorite playstation game (Philosoma) out and about that crashes Audio Overload for some unknown reason. Apparently the PS-X EXE “length” field is set to an invalid value or some shit (much longer than the file actually is, i think). A new version of AO that can cope (and that will also bring other long-awaited features to the PC versions like per-channel muting and WAV export) should be out by the end of the year."
Good news for Audio Overload fans, that's for sure. Personally, I'm just glad that Philosoma is getting some name recgonition, as it's one of the most overlooked shooters on the Playstation. Except for the 3/4 Zaxxon-style segments. Fuck Zaxxon in its overly-difficult ass.
Of course, this news was all buried under the wild debates over the announced PS3 pricings. Think about this, though:
