Did CPS Changer Alpha 1 have Qsound? more specifically, did it have the same music as Arcade version, or did it sound like the music was rendered in teh old style ala SF 2 WW?

I never played CPS Changer Alpha 1 and would like to know, thanks!

The CPS Changer had all games based on CPS-1, except SF Zero/Alpha. The version for Changer of this game didn't have QSound, not even the QSound splash screen. It seems that the Changer was nothing but an adapter to play arcade PCB's at home, so all hardware was basically on the came cartridge. But, again, all games were CPS-1, that means no QSound, and the Zero/Alpha "port" was unencrypted, without QSound, and basically scalled down to be CPS-1 alike, I guess.

I could be mistaken, but it shouldn't be too hard to get the game and try it in Kawaks for yourself.

The CPS Changer only had the YM2151 & OKI6295 for sound as did the original CPS arcade boards, hence no QSound.
