I can't remember if it was ZSNES or SNES9x that we used for Bomberman, but it would desynch on a LAN...so...

...and as well, the NetPlay menu option in SNES9X 1.3...7, I think (whatever the latest windows one is) is greyed out.

Any other ideas?

Snes9x with Kaillera

The author seems to recommend disabling sound, or at least the envelope height reading setting, in order to prevent desyncs. You might need to look at this thread, too.
