SubjectRetroUSB / Retrozone problem new Reply to this message

I've ordered a c64/amiga/atari joystick adapter from retrousb.com, but I have received nothing, and get no response by email. Did anyone else here order anything from that store? Do you have ideas about other places to buy an adapter?

EDIT: Items finally delivered, and works perfectly. The customer service was extremely slow but very nice when I got in contact, finally. They even offered a refund if the items could not be found.

...and honestly, no complaints. I ordered from them ~4-6 months ago. Within 7-10 days I had the two Atari 2600 and the two NES adapters I ordered from RetroZone's RetroUSB line. All four adapters work flawlessly. I'm sorry though to read of your experience.

Edit/update: Interesting...Just visited their website and I saw they are no longer selling the Atari/C64 adapters, just the parts to build your own. Perhaps they're short inventory now (?)

As for another place for a similar product try here:
http://www.atariage.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=267&zenid=2224c0e42f42996c09d43c5072310c07

I have never purchased one myself, but many others have and it works perfectly as well. It will cost you more because you need to purchase a USB cable as well (As opposed to RetroZone's all-in-one adapter and cable design).

I wish that the store had not taken my money then, if they no longer sell the adapter...
At least, I would have expected a reply to my emails. But if you got your items within 10 days, then something has gone seriously wrong, for sure.
I'll check out that adapter you suggested.

I have ordered from them, in bulk, for www.ztnetstore.com. I have had similar experience to you in response times, unfortunately.

I HAVE received my products, so no trouble there. However, I am trying to order their SNES to USB adapters in bulk, and have simply said "I have money to send, please tell me where and how much". We're looking at $2000 easily for what I"m getting, and it's been a week, and no reply.

I"m pretty sure it's a single individual, and this new product lineup (nes to wii, nes to usb, snes to wii, snes to usb) they've added, has gone far beyond what they had initially done, which was mainly 'made to order' controller adaptations, and hand made adapters for some older controllers. (Coleco, Atari, Intellivision, etc).

I think that he (they) may be swamped, and just can't handle the volume.

I do hope you get your adapter. If you still get no response after another week, just visit my store and send an inquiry letting me know some details about the order. Maybe the fact that I order in large quantity, might give me some way to help you. Of course, he'd have to response to me first. :/

I finally got a reply, and I hope that the items I ordered were just delayed. Maybe it will turn out well after all... I'll write here about that, later.

This has been my experience as well. I order in bulk, and it takes a while for communication. May just be not a full time job for him.

Regardless, never been dissatisfied with quality though, so that's good. :)
