is it possible to force a certain resolution and refresh rate in nebula (win gui) mode? in the generalw.dat file it seems to use numbers to represent the settings only.

i want to make it use 1920x1080 @60Hz if possible.

edit: nevermind. selecting "machine resolution" does the same thing. i thought it meant it used the cps resolution or something!

That's a pretty fucked up aspect ratio for the game. You should be shooting for 4:3 resolutions (so 1440x1080).

my lcd's resolution is 1920x1080 though so anything else will then have to use it's built in scaler to upscale it to that res anyway and that reduces image quality. the game itself can still run with the correct aspect ratio and have black bars on the side so it'll be 4:3.

that's how i understand it to be at least. i just got my first lcd monitor so i am still learning the differences between it and crts.
