This isn't directly related to your question but I'm about to recieve (absolutley free) a top spec Apple Notebook. Thing is I want to be able to run windows applications on the notebook without sacrificing performance by using windows emulation software.

Does anyone know if there would be any problems with either:

1. Completely removing Mac OSX from the hard drve and installing Windows Vista.

or preferably:

2: Partitioning the hard drive and having Mac OS on one side and Windows Vista on the other!

Again, I know this is not on topic but if anyone has any information about this issue it would be much appreciated.
