IIRC Emulator Enhancer is just nagware, not crippleware. Then again, I never actually was able to get my gamepads working with it (Saitek P2500 FTW)... but hey, I was able to get fullscreen!

My beef with his ports is that he never actually bothers to update most of them. He'll port over the most recent source code for the emulator, but that's about it. Don't bother submitting any bug reports for anything that doesn't directly relate to Emulator Enhancer, because he just doesn't care.

SNES9x is pretty nice on MacOSX, at least. The only two sites I know of with any decent info on emulators on mac are EmuScene and emulation.net.
