- Ported to multiple systems - Multi-system support (uses VisualBoyAdvance for GBA, FCEUlra for NES, etc) - Netplay - Rewind function - Multi-threaded video blitting and support for a variety of graphic filters - Slightly better compatibility - More versatile controller support
Downside being the emulator's setup is poop (setting up controllers in Mednafen is a bit annoying), has higher system requirements, and is CLI-based. There's some generic frontends that I've found for it and one or two specalized ones, but nothing remotely close to Magic Engine's GUI. Until it gets a nice, clean GUI like that, it's not going to take off. :(
