I tried a few times and I just can't seem to get the amiga emus working? I need like a setup guide for dummies or some tips?

I looked at easyemu but it didn't seem to help?

What are these boot roms? not looking for any but are they hard to get? I have the roms, it's all so confusing.

Now I know how Orc feels.

To emulate an Amiga 500 you need the Kickstart 1.3 ROM. This is the version that most Amiga 500s (and 2000s) came with and it's the most compatible. You can put it anywhere you want as long as you set up the path to it in the GUI. I keep mine in the WinUAE root folder.

Pick a standard Amiga 500 configuration in the configuration selector, insert your disk image and start the emulator.
