Version .72 has been out for over a year now. I don't see any mention on the official website of anything new going on.

I went to the DosBox forums but couldn't find a discussion about e.g. removing MT32. I do know that one needed a ROM and they had a bunch of rom beggars asking for it, but not sure about the others.

"They" didn't remove anything, this is ykhwong's own build from CVS and he just didn't include most of the extra patches he used to include.

So "they" posted the program with missing features. What's wrong with people, don't "they" check the work before making it public?

Is this the same build that you can download at the Dosbox home page?

I took a quick look at the guy's webpage an it looks like it's somebody's build instead of the official one. To be fair, it seems he's one of the frequent submitters to the CVS so it has a certain degree of quality.

So it seems this is more a "personal" build (as in, whatever he likes / deem to be useful) rather than an officia release. Still interesting for those hunting for an upgrade - but there are also (or used to be) daily builds from the latet CVS trunk that might have newer features (at the cost of stability).

No, "they" posted the program without extra features; "You" would do well to learn the difference.

Basically he compiled the CVS code as it currently stands.
