Years ago I remember looking into these. The feedback I got at the time was that the adapters would lag and/or drop key inputs, especially if multiple keys were pressed at the same time. You ever have any problems with that one?
I bought one of those SmartJoy FRAG adapters a few years back that let you hook up a keyboard and mouse to the (original) xbox. I managed to rig up the Hotrod to my xbox through that, but programming it was a pain in the ass and I could only get the 1p controls to work.
One more thing: If you use the usb adapter, do you still need to have a keyboard plugged into the Hotrod for the Hotrod to function? I've never gotten mine to work without a keyboard plugged into it when the computer boots up.
