We did a crap ton of housecleaning, due to moving most people off. It's likely, he got caught in the crossfire. What was his login? I made a backup, and can just restore the account. However, I would suggest getting RG mail offloaded to google. I can make the arrangements if you want and initial setup. It will deal with spam far better than here, and then you can add/del accounts as you desire.
