I'm new with emulator so I downloaded the 6.x meg MameCE3 supposed to embedded with roms. It started successfully but did not shown any rom. I clicked on one of the game under "options\shown all games" it just shown black screen and came right back. I do have gx.dll installed.

No version of MameCE3 have ROMS in them. The 'Big' Version you mention, is bigger becuase it has more games enabled. You still need to download the ROM files for the games you want to play.

You'll have to find ROMs on your own. It is getting a little harder these days but if you search you shall find. Remember the internet is made up of more than Web sites. NNPT News Groups were my first place to get them.
